TV Personality John Barbour on “Stu’s Show” – Nov. 11, 2020

The Road to JFK’s Assassination – What The Media Was Allowed To Report

TV personality and 5-time Emmy winner John Barbour will appear on Stu Shostak’s “Stu’s Show” (Wed. Nov. 11, 2020, 4 p.m. PT, 7 p.m. ET) to view and discuss TV’s non-stop, four-day coverage of JFK’s assassination, Oswald’s murder, and JFK’s funeral.

John says the media was told what to report by powerful forces behind the crime.  John will discuss “The Garrison Tapes,” his documentary about Jim Garrison, the D.A. who investigated New Orleans businessman Clay Shaw.  “This newly informative 3-hour, text-in show will feature some of the best clips from our film.”

Stu’s Show’s media critic, broadcast journalist Steve Beverly, will discuss the impact of the JFK coverage on TV.  Host Stu Shostak believes that was when TV “grew up,” by delivering news on the fly to an audience hungry for details.

John wrote “Your Mother’s Not a Virgin! The Bumpy Life and Times of the Canadian Dropout Who Changed the Face of American TV!” about being an actor, comedian, talk-show host, personal writer for Frank Sinatra, and creator of “Real People,” the first reality-TV show, which swept the nation (trineday dot com).
