The Journey 73. Jim Norman: Foster Was a Bagman For The Clintons

Publisher RA “Kris” Millegan talks with James Norman about “Fostergate” – rampant corruption at high levels of the US government, secretive bank spying activities of the National Security Agency, and wholesale trafficking in state secrets. Jim: The first thing [the Clintons] did when they got to Washington was start selling everything that wasn’t nailed down. [There already] was this rampant, sieve-like, wholesale merchandizing in state secrets that had taken root in Washington all over the place. It wasn’t just selling influence. It wasn’t just penny-ante bribery. This was big deal stuff. And what made this story particularly sensitive was that the main buyer of this stuff would have been the state of Israel. Everybody spies but the Israelis are better at it than others. The Israelis were a ready market for this stuff. [And Hayes] had tracked payments into Foster’s account from various Israeli banks. The Chinese were buying this stuff, too. The Israelis were re-selling it all over the place. [Hillary Clinton] was not just selling used pencils out of [Foster’s] desk. This was serious national security stuff.

Now the death of Vince Foster had been covered up from the get-go. The government went into a full court press to dismiss it as just an unfortunate suicide by a depressed White House lawyer. It was much, much more than that. The press never really got the story straight. So this story that I wrote was the first one that actually came up with the guts of the story. After I got it published, Forbes said, “We don’t want you working on this story anymore. Take a buyout or you’re gone.” So I took a buyout and I left. And that’s when I kind of became a reluctant hot potato late-night talk show celebrity for about a year there in late ’95, early ’96. Orlin was out there dropping bombs every day on his webpage and he was kicking ass. People were riveted to this thing.

Bruce de Torres: Your Fostergate story points the finger at who for taking out Foster?

Jim: There emerged various tidbits of information about that. The initial story we had was that it would have been a Mossad team that was involved. But we don’t know. The idea that he died in the park, I think everybody realized that that’s a cover story.

Bruce: Why would the Mossad take him out if Israel was a main customer of the state secrets?

Kris: It was getting messy.

Jim: He was at great risk of being exposed here. They had a lot to cover up. The U.S. intelligence community had a lot to cover up. The CIA and the Mossad were teamed up on many, many projects. Whether the Mossad did this at the behest of U.S. interests, we don’t know. But there were also some FBI types who were bragging afterwards, “Yeah, we did him. We killed him because he went entrepreneurial on us.” Meaning, he was selling stuff.

Supposedly the Kenneth Starr Whitewater investigation was given the portfolio to examine all this, which I think they did and they buried it. Instead Clinton ended up being impeached on the Monica Lewinsky stuff. None of the real reasons for the impeachment ever came out. The cover-up, it became obvious, was pervasive throughout high levels of the government and no journalist was going to penetrate that wall.

I think that the way God works, he gives lots of warnings; gives people and nations opportunity to change their ways. This was a two-by-four upside the head of the US government and they just ignored it. They just went on. This country has just gotten more and more corrupt. Unmanageable. There’s a judgement day coming somehow or another. I’m convinced of that.

Kris: The Clintons didn’t do this by themselves. Vice President George H. W. Bush helped set up Jackson Stephens there in Arkansas, especially with the drug trade, consolidating the various drug trades that had opened up.

Jim: This was a bipartisan issue all over the place. It goes way back. It goes way up the line. [Confronted with proof of their corruption and squeezed out were big names.] Sam Nunn. Bill Bradley. Claiborne Pell. Bob Dole. Bill Clinton was the creation of a much bigger enterprise that has persisted to this day. Virtually all of our presidents since Reagan or before have been creations of the intelligence community. Bill Clinton was recruited by Cord Meyer to the CIA when he was in school there in London. He made trips behind the Iron Curtain. The Bush family is neck deep in all of this stuff. And Obama, his parents were deep CIA.

Kris: Trump comes out of this milieu, too. They don’t have to put their hand directly on their shoulder. They play them into position.

Jim: I think that Giuliani and the Justice Department were using him as a front to gather string on mafia activities. I think that’s where Donald Trump got his ticket punched.

Kris: The mafia won. We live on a criminal planet. They create huge slush funds and can blackmail people.

Jim. It’s hard to draw a line between the mafia and the intelligence community really.

Kris: And the secret societies. They do converge and then they create these bullshit narratives to enmesh us all into this silly game that they’re playing and I wish that they would just tell the truth.
